男女平等についての考え、経験、 意見を交換するオンライン ワークショップです。
ヨーロッパ (オランダ) の男女平等について話し、日本の男女平等と比較します。

The 5th Sustainable development goal, Gender equality has become a large topic for discussion throughout the entire world. It is a topic which not only has a large influence on the economy of a country however mainly influences the well-being and freedom of individuals. Although the topic has received attention throughout the world, the extent of measures and the will for change has varied drastically between countries and individuals. Furthermore, this extent of gender equality in society seems to be related to the environment and traditions in which an individual grows up in. Because of this I believe that we should have an open discussion in which thoughts, misunderstandings and questions can be exchanged and answered. Doing this we can all widen our understanding of gender equality and maybe even understand how contrary thoughts of gender equality are created.

The goal of this online workshop is precisely to widen our understanding of gender equality as well as raising awareness to the public to have open discussion on gender equality. Every individual that will join will naturally have grown up in a different environment therefore experienced and seen different extents of gender equality. With this in mind, different gender equality questions will be discussed in smaller groups and then again with the entire group. These questions mainly focus around questions surrounding societal stereotypes and responsibilities. In addition to having an open discussion, Lena Nieke will explain the extent in which gender equality is discussed in the Netherlands and what sort of activities have been taken both by citizens and by the government.

SDGsの目標5「ジェンダー平等を実現しよう」は、世界中で大きな議論の的となっています。それは、国の経済に大きな影響を与えるだけでなく、個人の幸福と自由に影響を与えるトピックです。世界中で注目されていますが、対策の範囲や変化への意志は国や個人によって大きく異なります。男女平等についての意識は、個人が育った環境、それぞれの国や地域の歴史や文化に関連しているようです。

私は、オープンな議論を行い、参加者それぞれの考えや、理解していること・していないこと、疑問に思っていることなどについて、共有しいていくべきだと思っています。

対話を通じて、男女平等についての理解を深めることができます。ジェンダー平等について、自分と異なる考えがどのように生み出されているかを理解することさえできるかもしれません。

このオンライン ワークショップの目的は、男女平等についての理解を深めることと、男女平等についてオープンな議論ができるよう一般の人々に意識を高めることです。

参加するすべての個人は、異なる環境で育ったため、さまざまな場面でジェンダー平等に関することを経験し、見てきました。これを念頭に置いて、さまざまなジェンダー平等の問題について、小さなグループで議論し、その後、グループ全体で再び議論したいと思います。グループ議論での質問は、主に社会的ステレオタイプと責任に関することに焦点を当てています。

Lena Nieke は、オープンな議論に加えて、オランダで男女平等がどの程度議論されているか、市民と政府の両方がどのような活動を行っているかについて説明します。

Lena Nieke
Lena Nieke is a 3rd year biomedical student at the Vrije university of Amsterdam. She is of German and Japanese descent however has lived the past 15 years in Amsterdam the Netherlands. Apart from this, although Lena has never permanently lived in Japan she has visited Japan yearly and is currently doing an internship at the NPO Yokohama community design lab. In addition to lena’s personal interest in gender equality, Lena was able to learn in more depth about how gender equality is targeted in Yokohama by visiting the City of Yokohama Policy Bureau, Gender Equality Promotion Division as well as by participating in their gender equality workshop. In living and learning about gender equality in both the Netherlands and Japan, Lena has noticed how gender equality is targeted differently in the two countries.

レナ・ニエケは、アムステルダム Vrije 大学の3年生で、生物医学生です。ドイツ人と日本人の血を引いていますが、過去15年間オランダのアムステルダムに住んでいます。日本に定住したことはありませんが、毎年日本を訪れており、現在はNPO法人横浜コミュニティデザイン・ラボでインターンシップをしています（8/19まで）。レナはジェンダー平等に対する個人的な関心があります。先日、横浜市政策局男女共同参画推進課を訪問しました。市が主催するジェンダーについて考えるワークショップにも参加し、横浜でジェンダー平等がどのように目標設定されているかなど、より深く学ぶことができました。オランダと日本の両方でジェンダー平等について学び、生活する中で、両国でジェンダー平等が異なる目標を設定されていることに気づきました。
